Milford Regional Medical Center

820KW Combined Heat & Power Plant

Project Overview

Serving a region of over 20 towns, Milford Regional Medical Center has expanded in size and capacity with the recent addition of a 78,000 square-foot building housing a new emergency department. In an attempt to save on energy costs, Arden Engineering Constructors, LLC was selected to manage the mechanical installation of a new 820kw combined heat and power (CHP) system. Given that installation of the CHP System was adjacent to patient rooms, Arden successfully coordinated work so that interruptions to sensitive hospital operations were kept to a minimum.
